Amish Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce

Preheat oven to 350°F. Place bread crumbs in a buttered 1 1/2-quart baking dish. In a saucepan, scald milk, then add butter, sugar, eggs, salt, and vanilla extract. Blend well. Pour over the bread crumbs; sprinkle with cinnamon
