Recipe Name: Bacon and Eggs Casserole Cuisine: American Category: Casseroles Preparation: bake Temperature: Servings: 8 Ingredients: 4 bacon strips 18 eggs 1 cup milk 1 cup shredded cheese 1 cup sour cream 1/4 cup sliced green onions 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper Instructions: n a skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove to paper towel to drain. In a large bowl, beat eggs. Add milk, cheese, sour cream, onions, salt and pepper. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Crumble bacon and sprinkle on top. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand for 5 minutes. Yield: 8-10 servings.
Note: when I make this for my family, I cut the recipe in half. The first time I made it I didn't do this but reheated the leftovers by cutting in cubes and kind of "stir-frying" in a non stick skillet. -------------v2.0
