Potato Crust Casserole

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 lb. hamburger 1 can stewed tomatoes with garlic and onion -- (14-1/2 oz.) 1 can green beans -- (14-1/2 oz.) drained 3 cups mashed potatoes 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese -- shredded, divided
Brown beef in a 2-qt. pan. Salt and pepper to taste. Drain. Add drained green beans and un-drained tomatoes. Simmer slowly for 15 minutes. Mix in 1 cup of cheese. Place mixture in casserole. Arrange potatoes on top, and sprinkle on
remaining cheese. Bake at 350ยบ F. until cheese melts and potatoes begin to brown slightly, about 25 minutes.
