Recipe Name: Caramel Popcorn Cuisine: American Category: Desserts Preparation: Temperature: Servings: 24 Ingredients: ------ ------------ -------------------------------- 1/2 cup Butter or Margarine 1 cup Corn Syrup 2 cups Brown Sugar Instructions:
Bring ingredients to a boil in a large saucepan. Boil one minute and pour over 4 quarts of popcorn. Spread onto waxed paper for loose caramel corn or form into balls with buttered hands.
Variation: Cracker Jack Add 1 cup dry roasted peanuts to caramel mixture just before pouring over popcorn. Follow directions as above for loose caramel corn.
