Professionally decorated cakes always seem to have a molten, silky look.
To achieve this look at home, frost as usual and then use a hair dryer to "blow-dry" the frosted surfaces. The slight melting of the frosting gives it that smooth, lustrous appearance. Anonymous

Thanks for sharing these cool tips about the silky look of the cake. I have noted them and would like to apply them in the next few days when my uncle will come to my home. I am thinking to be a part of vancouver tours.
