Brownies From Heaven 1 cup butter, softened 2 cups sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 2 cups flour 1/2 cup baking cocoa 1 cup chopped walnuts Frosting: 1/2 cup butter, softened 3 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar 1/3 cup baking cocoa 1/4 cup milk 1 tsp vanilla In a large bowl, cream the butter and the sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Beat in the vanilla. Combine the flour and cocoa. Add to the creamed mixture just until combined. Stir in the walnuts. Spread into an ungreased 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 for 23-28 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. For the frosting, in a small bowl, beat the butter until fluffy. Beat in the confectioners' sugar, cocoa, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over the brownies. Cut into bars.
