Franks Cabbage & Ground Beef Bake/Crockpot

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 bag (16 ounces shredded cabbage and carrots
(about 6 cups
1 pound extra lean ground beef (do not brown)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 medium onion -- finely chopped
1 cup long grain rice
1 jar (28 ounces chunky spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup water
1/4 teaspoon dried basil leaves -- crushed
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
Place half of the shredded cabbage in 5 to 6-quart slow cooker. Crumble
ground beef over top. Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon
pepper. Evenly distribute chopped onion, then rice over all. Top with
remaining cabbage, salt and pepper. Combine spaghetti sauce, water, basil
and seasoned salt; pour over cabbage. High 4 to 6 hours, low 8 to 10 hours.
I got this off of one of my groups. It's called Frank's Cabbage & Ground
Beef Bake/ Crockpot (I call it Cabbage Unroll) and it came from someone
named Judy. I have made this and it was very easy and very yummy. The 20
month old likes it and it freezes great.
