Vinegar and Onions - JJ's Favorite
Recipe By : Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Favorite JJ's Recipe Side Dish Vegetable
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 large Onuion (we use spanish) -- peeled 1 1/2 teaspoons salt cup white vinegar
After skin has been removed from onion wash and slice like you were going to make onion rings making each slice not more than 1/4 inch thick.
After slicing place rings into large bowl about 1/4 filled with water and the salt. make sure all onions are covered with water and let them sit sor at least 15 minutes
Drain salt water and add add enough vinegar to cover the onions. Refrigerate at least 15 Minutes.
