Creep Crust Cobbler

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 5 apples -- (5 to 6) 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 cup. melted butter 1 cup. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 3/4 cup. milk 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 cup sugar
Peel and slice apples. Toss with cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar and set aside. Spread melted butter in a 9x13 pan. Mix flour and 1 cup sugar with baking powder, milk and vanilla. Pour into pan. Spread apples over batter. Batter will creep up over apples. Bake at 350 till golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream.
