MAE'S HAMBURGER GOULASH

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 c. elbow macaroni -- dry
2 cans tomato juice -- (12 oz.)
1 small can tomato paste
1 can stewed tomatos
1/2 medium onion -- diced
2 tsp. garlic powder or 1 clove garlic
1 Can Corn *
1 Can Green Beans *
1 Can Carrots *
salt
pepper

In a large frying pan brown ground beef and drain off fat. Stir in dry elbow macaroni until well mixed. Add the tomato juice, paste and spices and stir until well mixed.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then lower the heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Add vegetables and remaining ingredients. Remove lid and continue to simmer until desired thickness. Low fat, high carbohydrate and very filling (This recipe can also be doubled.)
