Here are some tips for picnicers.
Carry a small, sharp paring knife with your supplies. It can come in handy. For safety carry it in a plastic toothbrush case or a case like you get when you buy a pen set.
Stack your paper plates with a sheet of waxed paper between them. Serve the first course on top of the wax paper, which will keep the plate from being soaked through. Then, toss the wax paper in the trash and you have a clean plate for dessert! (saves a bit of cash too)
Planning to have hard boiled eggs on your picnic? Carry them in egg cartons (unpeeled)
