Lemon-Pepper Steak
To complement my flavorfully delicious steak, I served it
with our favorite grilled veggies and potatoes, and made it
a full meal.
Servings: Makes 2 servings. Prep: 10 mins Total: 25 mins Ingredients a.. 12 ounces beef flank steak b.. 1 tablespoon snipped fresh oregano c.. 1 teaspoon bottled minced garlic (2 cloves) d.. 1 teaspoon finely shredded lemon peel e.. 1 teaspoon olive oil f.. 1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
Directions 1. Preheat broiler. Trim fat from steak. In small bowl, stir
together oregano, garlic, lemon peel, oil, and pepper.
Sprinkle mixture evenly over both sides of steak; rub in with
your fingers. 2. Place on unheated rack of broiler pan. Broil 3 to 4
inches from heat for 15 to 18 minutes for medium (160
degrees F), turning once halfway through broiling. 3. Thinly slice steak diagonally across grain. If desired,
sprinkle with additional fresh oregano. Makes 2 servings.
