Sweet and Sour Kielbasa Kebabs (slow cooker) 1 lb. kielbasa, sliced into twenty four 3/4 inch pieces 1 bottle chili sauce, 12 oz 1 can pineapple juice, 6 oz 1/4 cu packed brown sugar 2 T. rice vinegar 1 T. low sodium soy sauce 1 T. chili garlic sauce 24 fresh pineapple chunks 24 red bell pepper chunks 8 scallions, sliced into twenty four 2 inch pieces Boil kielbasa pieces in water for 5 minutes. Drain. Mix chili sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar vinegar, soy sauce, and chili garlic sauce in 1 1/2 quart slow cooker. Add kielbasa. Cover; cook on high heat setting for 2 to 3 hours or on low heat for 4 to 5 hours. Thread a piece of kielbasa onto each of 24 skewers, along with a pineapple chunk, bell pepper chunks and scallion piece. Makes 24 kebabs. Note: Boiling the kielbasa before slow cooking it removes some of the excess fat and salt. Cuisine At home
