Barbecued Beef Tri-Tip

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/3 cup white vinegar 1/3 cup vegetable oil 3 tablespoons brown sugar 3 tablespoons soy sauce 3 green onions -- chopped 1 clove garlic 1/2 teaspoon black pepper -- ground 1 1/2 pounds beef tri-tip
Mix all ingredients except beef. Pour over beef in shallow pan and refrigerate 24 hours. Remove from marinade and grill to desired doneness. Slice thinly. Bring remaining marinade to a boil and dip beef slices in it before adding to omelet.
