While traveling across the country to get married, a young couple was involved in a fatal accident and both were killed. As they were waiting at the pearly gate to be processed into heaven, they became curious as to since they intended to be married on earth if they could get married in heaven.
When St.Peter finally got to them, they asked him aout the matter. St.Peter replied: "I will check on that and get back to you. St.Peter stayed gone for 3 whole months before contacting them.
While He was gone they began to think some more and it occurred to them that the marriage might not work out and they wondered if they would be stuck with each other for eternity or if they would be able to get a divorce.
When St.Peter finally returned, they asked him this new question. St.Peter then became irritated and threw his clipboard on the ground and then replied: "It took me 3 months to find a priest up here, how long do you think it will take me to find a lawyer?"
