Granny's Grape Cobbler

10 cups grapes -- stemmed and washed
2 cups sugar
2 1/2 tbs. tapioca
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 tbs. lemon juice
1 tbs. butter or margarine
slip skins from grapes,set aside.heat pulp to boiling,then put through a
food mill to remove seeds.combine sugar,tapioca, salt and cinnamon.add lemon
juice and grape pulp,cook until thickened,stirring constantly.remove from
heat.add grape skins and mix.pour into a 8 inch square baking tin or two 9
inch pie plates.
batter topping; combine
1/2 cup flour,
1/2 cup sugar,
3/4 tsp.baking powder,
1/8 tsp. salt,
2 tbs.soft margarine or butter
and 1 egg,slightly beaten,
beat until smooth. drop by spoonfuls over hot grape mixture, spread
evenly.it spreads over grapes during baking.bake at 350 degrees until done
