CRUNCHY BAKED CHICKEN

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 lb. frying chicken pieces 3 Tbsp. margarine or butter 1 egg 1 1/4 c. Kellogg's cornflakes crumbs 2 Tbsp. milk 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper
Dip chicken in mixture of 1 slightly beaten egg and 2 tablespoons milk. Coat with mixture of 1 1/4 cups Kellogg's cornflakes crumbs, salt and pepper; place in single layer, skin side up, in well-greased shallow baking pan. Drizzle with 3 tablespoons melted margarine or butter, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until chicken is tender.
