Amish Apple Fritters

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 Cup Flour 3 Tablespoons Powdered sugar 1/3 Cup Milk 2 Med Apple -- sour, thinly slice 1 1/2 Teaspoons Baking powder 1/4 Teaspoon Salt 1 Egg -- well beaten
Sift the dry ingredients into a bowl. Beat the egg and add the milk and stir into the dry ingredients. Mix well. Add the sliced apples. Drop batter by spoonful's into hot fat and fry.
