Title: Ice Cream Strudel

Yield: 3 Strudels
MMMMM---------------------------PASTRY--------------------------------
2 c Ice cream, melted or soft
1 c Butter
2 c All pourpose flour
Melted butter
MMMMM--------------------------FILLING-------------------------------
12 oz Apricot jam
1 tb Lemon juice
1 c Chopped walnuts (or pecans)
1/2 c Rasins
1/2 c Cocoanut
1/4 c Maraschino cherries, chopped
MMMMM-----------------------CINNAMON SUGAR----------------------------
1/2 c Sugar
1 tb Ground cinnamon
Prep time: 20 Minutes
Chill time overnight (4 hours minimum)
Oven temp: 360 f.
Bake time: 35 minutes.
1. Prepare pastry by combining ice cream, butter and flour
iuntill blended. Dough will be soft. Shape into ball and
refrigerate overnight.
2. For filling blend jam, lemon juice. nuts, rasins, cocoanuts
and cherries.
3. After removing pastry from refridgerator it must be divided
into three parts, each rolled into a 10 inch square.
4. Spread each with 1/3 of the filling to within 1 inch of the
edge, pinch ends to seal.

5. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet and make 6 holes for
steam to escape through on each roll.
6. Brush with melted butter. Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle
over rolls.
7. Bake ot 350 F. for 35 minutes or until golden. Cut into 1/2
inch slices to serve. Each roll makes aout 12 slices
