Banana Boat 1 banana 2 tablespoons semisweet chocolate chips 2 tablespoons miniature marshmallows 1 tablespoon of brown sugar 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream
Slit each banana lengthwise, but not all the way through. Leave the skin on the banana DO NOT PEEL.
Put the miniature marshmallows (approx. 2 tablespoons) all across the slit, pushing them in as close as possible without breaking the peel.
Put the semisweet chocolate chips (approx. 2 tablespoons) on top of marshmallows.
Sprinkle lightly with brown sugar (approx. 1 tablespoon).
Wrap the banana tightly in foil, being sure to seal each end.
NOTE: Remember which side is up. Mark top to help you remember.
Place on the grill with seam side up.
Cook on grill for about seven minutes. Remove from grill. You can leave the banana in the foil while you are eating. It will stay hot until you are ready for your dessert.
Serve, either in foil or transfer to dish and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
